rockey admit it you thought lsu gave up 21 points on defense to auburn

naaa, i watched that entire game. i just dont think the auburn victory is anything to hang your hat on.

anyway, look guys i am just not sold on your boys just yet...

i would love to be, but right now i believe florida is the better football team.

im not sold on lsu either. but they have looked better than florida. but it's in the swamp. thus i give florida the edge. now whether they cover or not is a different story.

-inexperienced qbs
-struggled against auburn who i believe is a bottom team in the sec. if they are a middle of the road team than the conference is weaker than i originally thought.
-weak secondary

-florida's offense has looked mediocre
-florida's defense has given up points to shite offenses (ole miss, arky)
-florida has nothing up the middle and gave up a shitload of rushing yards to arky

-florida has more to play for given the fact that they already have 1 loss in conference play (emotion is a huge part in the college game)

Let's look at Flor:
-inexperienced OL
-struggled against Tenn and Ark (both bottom dwellers) not to mention a bad Mia team. Did I forget to say they lost to a 2-3 Ole Miss?
-weak run defense
-locker-room emotion ends the after the first snap & tackle

in short: obviously that is where lsu will attempt to exploit florida. although florida will make lsu beat them through the air by putting 7-8 men in the box and then confusing your young qbs. its interesting game, like i said im staying away from it.

nope

that's where we exploit everyone, but we will have an easier job against UF accordingly

scott ran for almost 150 against a much better defense with much better DTs doing just this

and then confusing your young qbs

again

LSU - 28th in total offense
UF - 47th in total offense

LSU has played one less game.

And locker room emotion only translates to the field when you score right out of the gate. If the other team gets ahead early, the adrenaline quickly dissipates.

youre right, what was i thinking.

every saturday night game after a huge touchdown, they just casually hand the ball over to the refs and walk back to the sidelines.

what was i thinking?

BUT better than LSUs opponents or not???

point is... its pretty ridiculous to compare offensive output rankings unless teams have common opponents.

break it down position by position and florida has a better offensive unit and more experience. that is all and if you disagree, i do not see me changing my mind any time soon...

The only offensive advantage they have over LSU is at QB. Our backs, receivers, and o-line are all better.

QB - UF big
RB - LSU
WR - LSU (if Harvin is out)
TE - LSU
OL - LSU big
