The Biden administration has ordered the National Archives to turn over records from former Vice President Mike Pence despite objections from former President Trump.

A Tuesday letter from White House Counsel Dana Remus directed the agency to begin releasing the documents to the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

“Many of the records as to which the former President has made a claim of privilege in this set of documents, however, were communications concerning the former Vice President’s responsibilities as President of the Senate in certifying the vote of presidential electors on January 6, 2021,” Remus wrote.

Although vice presidential records do qualify for some public record exemption that restrict access, “they are not subject to claims of the presidential communications privilege,” she wrote.

Remus has consistently ordered the release of various Trump-era documents, noting that President Biden, as the sitting commander in chief, has not asserted any privilege over the records.

Would there be anything of value in there you think?

I haven't followed this fraud committee all that much

That's a good point. Trump is acting very guilty by starting up lawsuits to block access to records. We should encourage transparency and denigrate officials like Trump who continually attempt to block access to records.

Couldn't agree with you more.

What an interesting, and not at all suspicious, account. Started in 2018, and is here now active on the PoliBoard, but somehow did not post at all during multiple elections and only started posting a week or so ago.

I'm eager to see the next alter, FinalDraft.

So defending his right to executive privilege is an example of guilt?

So by your line of reasoning, lawyering up is a sign of guilt.

Ok, Fed.

1. Never called them my heroes. But it's very likely that you don't mind being dishonest, so more power to you I suppose.

2. All leaks are selective by definition essentially, no? Do you not think that republican led committees in the past or Trumps close advisors also selected their leaks carefully? I'm not saying I approve, but to say leaks are selective isn't exactly breaking new ground or something that can be used against one side more than the other.

Now for the good question. Do you support transparency? Or do you only support it when it favors you politically?

How many GOP committees refused to seat the Dim leaders’ choices for membership and chose for them instead?

That right there kills any credibility the J6 committee pretended to have.

Why pick and choose? Just release all records of everyone there that day. Be they the rioters or politicians. I would like to see Pelosi and aoc's records for that day.

Instead, we just get uniparty partisans jacking each other off as they explicitly target political opponents. Even some of the instigators of the riot itself are given a free pass, because it's clear they're a fed informant.

Like I said alter douche release it fricking all, including all the video.

Schiff and company will never do that, this is why it's another witch hunt with predictable alters like you suddenly appearing on the scene.

He no longer has a right to executive privilege, and has tried to claim executive privilege on discussions that have never been covered by the concept at all. Advice and discussions with official advisors can be claimed. Discussions with random civilians like Steve Bannon or Roger Stone by definition isn't covered and the courts have confirmed this.

Does the truth matter to you? Even a little bit?

So they’ve made it down to the VP, does that mean they’ll be releasing Madame Speaker’s next?
