Alter returns!
I guess I'm not super familiar with this.

If I had an account here and got banned, why would I not be able to get a new email and sign up for a new account and post? Why would I need to store an account for years just in case I got banned?

Where did you learn to read minds? Trump University?

Did you get your money back in that big settlement? I'd be really upset too. Just remember, better days are ahead.

God bless you sir!
*People who own the rights to Dr. Suess decide to stop publishing some of his lesser known books*

The right: OMG! They are banning Dr. Suess!

The left: Umm, no they aren't. A private company decided not to publish new copies of certain books. No one banned anything.

*Tennessee school board removes Maus from curriculum*

The left: OMG! They are banning this book about the holocaust!

The right: Umm, it's not banned. They removed it from a curriculum. Why are you lying and being so hysterical just like I was a few months ago?

I swear, lol. There are so many idiots on both sides of the isle it hurts my brain at times.
I wonder if the person who invented memes knew how much it would destroy the critical thinking skills of people everywhere, lol.

How does inflation being a serious issue have anything to do with my post?

They told him it was time to go.

Yes, finally they told him.

They screamed like little girls for the entire investigation that it was politically motivated, that the media was reporting false info, that the anonymous sources couldn't be trusted, that all of the witnesses testifying under oath couldn't be trusted, etc. etc. And they only told him to go after the tape was released.

It's a perfect example that reminds sensible people that when Trump supporters squawk about all these unfair attacks on Trump and how everybody is lying, they are merely doing what they think they are supposed to do. Defend their man. Truth doesn't matter. They need to defend him until they can't any more. And even then, I tend to think they are so far off the deep end that when Trump tells them that they can't trust their own eyes or ears that most of them will listen obediently. It's absolutely heart wrenching to watch, I assure you.

As if anything from WashingtonDC is every going to bring down Trump. They are the living embodiment of the boy who cried wolf.

There are only a few that are paying attention to this nonsense, and no one is watching the MSM news. This latest attempt to smear Trump will not budge anyone.

I tend to agree with you. It's extremely unlikely that anything that comes out of any investigation will bring down Trump. This is similar to Watergate. It didn't matter how many people were willing to testify, it didn't matter that we had records of payments from Nixon, it didn't matter how much proof was offered. Republicans stood by their man. And we are even more politically divided now. So even though the Nixon tapes finally broke the trance of most republicans back in those days, it likely wouldn't have an effect on most republican's now. They would deny it, claim it was taken out of context, claim that the tape shouldn't have been released therefor you can't blame trump for what he said etc. Basically any excuse needed.

Even just 30 years ago I think it would have been universal that if the president had his personal lawyer in charge of ambassadors and other government officials with the task of forcing a foreign country by withholding arms into announcing investigations against his political opponent that impeachment and removal would have been near universal. It's a perfect example of how blinded most Americans are by partisanship. It's horrific to see honestly.

You see, what goes around, comes around. No judge is going to stop the release of Biden’s comms of drooling if trump gets back in. It will be a bloodbath.

I agree. If they are legally subpoena'd as these were, I don't see why they shouldn't be released.

We have 2 options. To err on the side of transparency or to err on the side of not enough transparency. I'm on the side of transparency regardless of politics.

Jesus, how hard of a concept is this? Country over party.

Like I said alter douche release it fricking all, including all the video.

Schiff and company will never do that, this is why it's another witch hunt with predictable alters like you suddenly appearing on the scene.

Release it all to the public? Probably not a great idea. I don't like Trump but I don't think releasing every single discussion that the president of the united states had in private to the public is a great idea.

I'm glad you are open to releasing records though. It's funny that Trump supporters were so adamantly opposed to releasing records right up until Trump got his bottom spanked in court and the records were released. It took them a while, but at least they seem to be getting closer to the right side.

Wow. Didn't even quote my whole post to purposefully keep out the plain facts, and couldn't even muster a two word reply.

I think that means I win. No? Yea pretty sure.

Have a good day!
quote:

So defending his right to executive privilege is an example of guilt?

He no longer has a right to executive privilege, and has tried to claim executive privilege on discussions that have never been covered by the concept at all. Advice and discussions with official advisors can be claimed. Discussions with random civilians like Steve Bannon or Roger Stone by definition isn't covered and the courts have confirmed this.

Does the truth matter to you? Even a little bit?
quote:

Your heroes on that committee are mighty selective with there leaks.

1. Never called them my heroes. But it's very likely that you don't mind being dishonest, so more power to you I suppose.

2. All leaks are selective by definition essentially, no? Do you not think that republican led committees in the past or Trumps close advisors also selected their leaks carefully? I'm not saying I approve, but to say leaks are selective isn't exactly breaking new ground or something that can be used against one side more than the other.

Now for the good question. Do you support transparency? Or do you only support it when it favors you politically?

What is the amount that you understood of my post because there were too many multi-syllabic words?

*DING*

That is correct!

This is great. Always loved Jeopardy.

Let’s just go ahead and release allllll records and surveillance regarding Jan 6th.

That's a good point. Trump is acting very guilty by starting up lawsuits to block access to records. We should encourage transparency and denigrate officials like Trump who continually attempt to block access to records.

Couldn't agree with you more.

Who the hell would give this to babies?

Rational and medically informed parents who have discussed this with their child's doctor and trust the opinions of medical professionals more so than random posts on social media.
Tell me you're a conspiracy theorist without telling me you're a conspiracy theorist...

All of these morons like Neil Young probably haven't even listened to the Joe Rogan interview or more importantly the Senator Ron Johnson's "Second Opinion" piece that both included Robert Malone, the inventor of the MRNA (covid vaccine) technology.

I listened to that podcast and listen to a good number of his podcasts. I enjoy it. He's a good interviewer.

With that said, he's always had an affinity for conspiracies like the moon walk conspiracy and ivermectin and stuff like that.

Regarding Malone, I'm more than willing to listen to him, but he hasn't presented a single piece of evidence to show that these vaccines aren't safe and effective. And I believe that his claim of inventing MRNA vaccine technology is questionable at best. Doing some work on a team 30 years ago hardly means you get to say you invented the technology. But regardless, either he has proof that the vaccines are dangerous or he doesn't. I've listened to the man for hours upon hours and haven't been presented any evidence at all, just random claims.

That's a problem. If you make extraordinary claims you need to provide some good evidence. You should expect to be dismissed if you make wild claims and then provide no evidence at all.

100%. The people who do this almost always shank it off into the woods anyways.

My routine is to step up and take a quick practice stroke. Take a step back to figure out the line, then step up and hit. Doesn't take me any more than 20-30 seconds to do all of that.

I've heard this from a number of people. I've been treating my trips to the driving range like this as well. Unless something felt really off with my last swing, I step back, picture the shot, practice swing then step up and hit.

Your premise is that I'm open to being swayed in a different direction re: something that I question, and it couldn't be more incorrect.
So you're completely closed to any new information swaying you in a new direction? Is that what you meant or did you have a typo somewhere?

Regardless, my question isn't whether you have changed your mind when someone has posted something you disagree with. I'm just asking sincerely if you've ever even considered what they posted and discussed it honestly. Right now it feels as though you and many cohorts around here are just posting what you believe and trolling anyone who disagrees in the slightest.

So where is it all coming from?

I'm sure they'd all be willing to show you all of the evidence and sources and methods if you just give them your credit card number, lol.

My dude, this is no different than when Trump milked people out of their money with a fake university, or when Steve Bannon milked people out of their money with a fake wall scam, or when Mike Pillow threw the last "fraudulent election palooza" which was just a giant advertisement for pillows. They need to make a living and they know if they stick scary music over a minute long video with some scary questions and vague accusations, millions of very sincere but gullible people will hand over some money.

I've been a member for quite a while, reading mostly the sports forums and I like to search the forums for advice on local topics from time to time. Finally started posting a week ago or so.

Would I be safe in assuming that you are attacking me rather than my post because it's easier than addressing the plainly stated facts that I posted?
