While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted.

In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument

The problem is that not enough people will care. All that matters these days is being the first to say something. It doesn't even have to be true because nobody cares weeks later (months, years) when it is corrected or the truth comes out. That first impression means everything. It's the core of the stupid cancel culture bullshite...get people riled up to make something happen, and then move on to the next target. Nevermind if the person you just cancelled actually didn't do anything wrong.

The reactions and overreactions to Covid will be the same thing. It will go down in history as the biggest scam/power grab ever.

Its what got us in this mess in the first place. Democrat leaders falling over one another to lock down for two weeks then a month. Mayors and governors couldn’t help but take the chance and “look” like they were taking action, consequences be damned.

But they probably had a big impact on suicides, ODs, and related deaths.

I'm not on facebook, but I wish you a bunch of you people that are would start spreading the News that the lockdown was a good thing and helped with covid. And that masks were a good thing and made a difference with covid. And see if any of you get banned for spreading these views, which SHOULD constitute dis-information.
