His team is built for his success. The Chiefs were rolling with Smith too, just couldn’t get over the playoff hump. Burrow far more important to his team than Mahoney is his.

Well now "Pat" will have ample time to schedule filming more commercials.

One of the NFL's best-kept secrets is that Joe Burrow plays defense, too!

WTF happened

That puzzling misfire right before the half happened. The Chiefs were rolling and pretty much imposed their will in the first half. A score there would have probably put it out of reach, as the Chiefs opened up the second half WITH THE BALL and could have completed a twofer.

After the misfire, the body language of both teams changed markedly. Mahomes and the Chiefs were never the same, and the Bengals were given a new "lease on life" which Burrow exploited fully, like the championship baller that he is.

We played Tech in the Texas bowl way back when and it was clear he was the best player on the field.

No he wasn’t. He completed 50% of his passes and had a 69.8 QBR. Fournette ran for 212 yards and scored 5 TD’s.

Not overrated. He's incredibly talented. Insanely talented.

But he's stupid. He has zero situational awareness. He believes his own press that he's Superman.

His career will be like Favre. That ain't bad at all. But not as good as I could have been.

He won't make it to another super bowl.

Did you watch the bills game? He has been to 2 super bowls and 1 AFC championship game. He's overrated? What are you watching? The Bengals made great adjustments and he had a bad 2nd half thankfully .

I said what I said. Not about stats. He was on an inferior team but the intangibles were on display for all to see. If you didn’t see what I saw fair enough. But I was beyond impressed and not surprised at all when he took over in KC.
