Yes. You can make the same argument about alcohol, but I can definitely distinguish the two. I partake (not any longer after bad experiences with both) in neither of the two.

While I don’t believe the government should be able to prohibit it (or tax winnings for that matter) I objectively think this thing is going to wreak a good bit of havoc.
I got the free stuff, put it all on Cincy outright. Either I get a nice bit of free money or break even at zero and I delete either way.

Agreed. But you can't withdraw that money without making a deposit, either. Read the fine print and be aware of enticements to reel you in. Just be aware.

Honestly, none of my business. I just know that casinos always have an edge and gambling can lead to very bad endings. I just want people to be careful.
