Once to be able to play immediately. After that it’s the old rule. Sit a year to play. It’s not as bad as it’s being described as.

I believe you can use it if you’ve graduated as well correct?

Old rules allowed FBS players to play immediately if they transferred to an FCS school:
If an FBS player enters the portal & goes to another FBS school can they still play immediately if they decide to transfer again to an (FCS)?

Under the graduate rule, the athlete must enroll in an academic program not offered at their previous school.

WHich is why every school offers a unique grad degree that is sports administration related.
