Everyone is forgetting that this was supposed to be a rebuild year and we’re actually better than we were last year

Rebuild? The top teams rebuild every year then. With one and done and transfers all it takes is one year. See Auburn.

with basketball’s small roster and the transfer portal, “rebuilds” can happen virtually overnight. It’s not a multi-year process.

This year's team is far more athletic and plays terrific defense and aggressive. Last season's team had better half-court offense and shooting from outside, but I like this team.

If this team holds together the next few seasons and we add new players, then LSU basketball will be special.

Between the recruiting class and the transfers, I don't remember ever thinking, or hearing, that this was a rebuild year. Everyone mentions the players we lost. It's college basketball... all the good teams lose their players every year. It's not a rebuild, it's just a retool. I had much higher expectations for this team, than last year's team, because those guys didn't want to play defense.
