I’ve seen some nice homes there that are affordable and I have my second on the way. Just wondering everyone’s thoughts.

And let’s assume it’s closer to the Florida side.

Tara is as close as I would go, it will be interesting to see what kind of impact Amazon has on that corridor in the next few years though

A lot would depend on your neighbors. If they are good people I’m sure it would be ok. The problem is you never know if they’ll move and you get shitheads moving in.

In Broadmoor? Any particular reason like unsafe or anything like?

I saw a wbrz article where they are supposed to have cameras and license plate readers in every entrance of the neighborhood with direct feed to BRPD and they pay 10 private patrolmen.

I can’t find anything really affordable that doesn’t need work and this fits the bill.

Moved out of state. The level of crime in there was going up daily

Yeah, I don't get it. People sell houses in CCLA too.

That isn’t something prospective buyers usually seek when they’re house shopping.

I just remember that when I lived in that area, it seemed like there were a lot more incidents than I was comfortable with and it was rising.

If you want to find the truth look at crime statistics for the area. People on here are gonna tell you anything in EBR is too dangerous.

Petty crimes run rampant in that area. Chain down your mower and anything else you wish to keep.

The residential areas off of Siegen are fine...except for the subsidized apartment complex behind Academy.

Broadmoor is fine too. There isn't much residential across Florida right there.

Everything changes...my Grandfather built the house on Goodwood and Cora back in the 50's..I think there are still areas that would be fine. I wonder if some of the houses on the service road there at Florida are rentals?
