They’re healthy for the first time since 2019 and are making a run in the playoffs. I’d say that’s an indication of a great team.

Shanahan’s zenith on the playcalling front is as high as it gets, but he loses his mind at times. It’s reminiscent of Payton. At their core they’re both exceptional but Shanahan in particular loses his mind and/or is stubborn as hell at the worst times

There’s no reason the 49ers can’t win a Super Bowl. The reality is every team left is blemished as hell. Makes for great viewing though.

I’m sorry. Prayers sent.

Congrats on the win. You knocked off the Cowbaws. Now, I hope GB rips SF a new one.

They're healthy for the first time, yet barely made it into the playoffs as a wild card. And thus far, they've beaten one team who has made a habit of playoff letdowns for 25 years. The Niners still almost derped it away, too.

They're very talented, but I'm not labeling them anywhere close to great yet.

Even the donk sports betting public liked the 49ers.

They’re going to beat GB next week.

You and your husband should really pay more attention before the playoffs start

You don't know anything about this 49er team, clearly.

Healthy?

They are missing the following starters all on IR: RT, DT, DE, CB, and RB.

49ers have a talented team. But the QB and coach are two dumbasses. Flatbill has a conservative loser mentality in key situations that tends to get away from the run game and puts the ball unnecessary in the hands of his terrible QB. Like today he chose a field goal on 4th and 1 despite the Cowboys being unable to stop their run game. Then went pass heavy mid 4th quarter that led to a pick. Had the opposing QB not been Dak Bortles it would not have been a good ending. This same approach cost them a Super Bowl.

They were dealing with injuries for most of the season, particularly early on. You realize that, correct?

ETA: When I said healthy you seemed to take that to mean they have no injuries. Which is absurd. They’re still missing a handful of important pieces.

Payton is a great comparison. My previous comment wasn't meant to insinuate that Shanahan isn't any good at what he does. But you nailed it, he loses his mind or gets stubborn.

In games like against the Packers, Bears, or last week against the Rams, it seemed like it took him two and a half quarters to finally adjust or stick to what was working. He has gone 13-3 and made a Super Bowl with Garoppolo before, so I don't think you can just lay it all on the QB position either.

What are ya'll smoking? They lost by 2 points to the Packers and 3 points to the Titans. They beat multiple playoff teams. They are a solid team that can play with anyone.

Yes.

I didn't, but you're the one that brought up that they were healthy for the first time since 2019, as if they're the only team that has dealt with injuries. Just because they're healthier than they have been doesn't make them "great".

3 first round picks for a backup QB

Can you name a team that has dealt with more injuries than they have the past 2 seasons?

They went 7-2 in the back half of the regular season, beating the Benagals and Rams (2x), and going toe to toe with the 1 seed Titans on the road.

Saying they’re a great team isn’t some absurd statement. It’s perfectly reasonable.
