You guys see bias where there is no bias.
It is insane.

Tony is as close as the generation will have to a John Madden in the booth.

I guess I just don’t want a National play by play or color commentator being a cheerleader for one of the teams.

He's been very complimentary of San Fran all game. Romo is the best in the business and it's not particularly close. Sorry for your lost, baw

While I agree, he is insufferable when the CowGirls are playing. If you don’t think he is a homer, then you are a CowGirl fan also.

I hate the Cowboys!!
Tony is just informative and fun. He’s off the cuff. He just acts like his sitting in your living room with you.
That’s genuine, unique and rare.

The hard core cowboys fans were bitching he was too critical of the cowboys. Now you complaining he was kissing their arse. Haha

-"Tony is as close as the generation will have to a John Madden in the booth" -
To each his own... ..kinda like I think Collingsworth, by far, gives the best insight into the game than any of the others but when it comes to John Madden, and what he brought to Television's broadcasting of football... .. I can't even think of a hint of why Tomy Romo would ever come up in the topic.
For me, Romo "in the booth", at best, just becomes incidental drivel, so unnoticable and insignificant that I don't think I would be able to say if he was or wasn't there.. if someone happened to ask. I don't tune him out on purpose, just haven't heard anything that registers... I had a mother-in-law that I'd somehow isolate and mute, just her alone, without even trying. Noticing Romo would be like asking me if the fridge compressor kicked on during the game or not.
