PFF analytics that show how different Ja’Marr Chase and Deebo Samuel are

I haven't seen many of Chase's games this year, so when they mentioned them both as very similar I just kinda of rolled my eyes as color-commentary fluff. I'm a 49er fan so I've seen a lot more Deebo of the last few years.
However, the more I watched the more I realized they have a very similar rough-edge to their game.
Chase is obviously a better pass-catcher, but once he gets the ball in his hands, like Deebo, you have to gang tackle to get him down.

Well the chart shows they are both the best YAC guys in the league but Chase is catching it way deeper down the field. Both special players, but different.

To be fair...Chase has Burrow throwing him the ball, and Deebo has a guy that dates porn "stars"

Well yeah, San Francisco runs an entirely different offense

Cooper Kupp just had one of the greatest seasons by a WR ever, yet looks average on this graph.
All I know is that USCe underutilized Deebo and Chase is an absolute unit.

Hill is a little surprising but that might be that defenses are scheming around him knowing that he can bust one at any minute.
Cole Beasley is EXACTLY where I’d thought he would be. He essentially is an extension of the Bills run game.

Doesn’t Deebo get 5 or so handoffs a game?

People say shite like this like coaches don’t scheme to their player’s strengths.

I mean, not really. He was by far our most productive offensive weapon who was used heavily as a gadget player, much like Shanahan is doing with him now.
His jet sweeps in college were deadly.
Problem with Deebo was that he was injury-prone in college. He was tearing it up before he broke his fibula in 2017, but when he was healthy he was a short field and deep threat.

Lmao so the 49ers should just let Jimmy G chuck it down the field like the Bengals let Burrow do?
