Can someone with actual knowledge of the academic eligibility rules as they apply to transfer portal please explain how/if a kid can be ineligible at one school and portal to another and play immediately?
Is it only transfer to a JuCo? Outside the SEC?
Or as it should be, have to sit out a year no matter where they transfer?

Depends what team they are transferring to. Some schools can play new transfers who didn’t even attend any classes at their former school somehow. Other schools get transfers who were academically ineligible and they have to sit a year.

This is a symptom of not just LSU, but our world today. Many of us are struggling not to move in the wrong direction, myself included. Life is hard. There's no easy out. In ‘19, Burrow played against a MSU team that had 8 players suspended for that game for weed. Ole miss had several 2 years ago. Georgia and South Carolina have also had multiple in previous years. Do we know why Dare didn’t play in KU’s bowl game? Team rules huh??? Hmmmmm do we need to think too hard?
