I really don’t understand why the prohibition against carrying a .22 pistol.

I was under the impression that you can carry one.
You just can’t shoot the deer with it.

Come on man, I spined a 200 pound 7 point with my bow, walked up carefully from behind, as he could only move front half of body, I grabbed his antlers with one hand and cut his throat with the other hand. It wasn't hard.
