i picked up a pair of moccasins at walmart for $15 and they've been the best damn slippers ever.
wife gets mad when i sneak out to get coffee and wear them but hell, they look like regular shoes.
go ahead & laugh at CAD now.

If you find some with a hard sole, at least hard enough to provide some actual support, let me know.
I found out quickly going into Fall that I can't wear the soft sole, memory foam stuff around the house anymore.
I ended up buying a pair from Academy that is their Magellan brand. They're fleece lined, with elastic like strings, and slip on and off. They've been really good inside and outside the house. The only complaint I had was they were tight, but they stretch pretty quickly over time. A half size bigger would have been perfect, but they don't make half sizes.

These are my current "slippers":
but they're not very warm from November through March here in New Mexico.

I had a pair like that, but they were lacking in support. They were a decent brand, but I forget the name. The ones I went with this time have a similar sole to boat shoes or something, but with the feel of house shoes everywhere else. My feet don't hurt when I wear them for a while around the house, that's the main thing.

I have those dearfoams and love them. I’m walking around the grocery store in them now actually.
I’ve had them for 2 years now and they’ve held up perfectly in snow, ice, dirt and mud and they were fairly inexpensive.

UGGs, if they’re good enough for Tom Brady, they’re good enough for me.

I got some from lands end for Christmas. I enjoy them because they come in wide to fit my Neanderthal feet.
