The Delta variant took hold worldwide AFTER vaccination began. It’s a spurious correlation. Deaths and cases went up after vaccination began because of Delta, not the vaccine. This is junk analysis, but I am sure all you “independent thinkers” will just accept its conclusions uncritically because it supports your biases.

That study is very weak. I skimmed through it, and I think I see the problem with it. It takes a single variable - vaccine availability - and draws conclusions from before and after death rates and case rates as though no other variables were changing.
Once vaccines became available, the amount of social distancing dropped off. I would guess that this is what is responsible for the increase in spread and deaths. Simply put, people came out of their hidey-holes and started mingling.
I could be wrong. I did not spend much time on it after I saw the preachy part. That tipped the hand that this wasn’t a scientific study. Instead, it is a tendentious propaganda piece.
