Having a hard time how understanding how somebody is getting a general discharge after disobeying an order. Shouldn't that be a dishonorable discharge?

If you took all the other vaccines required to be in the military, you have no grounds for not taking this one. So sit down and STFU.

What’s going on is nothing short of a political purge of the military in the same manner Stalin purged the Red Army in the 30s. Only difference is he had most of the ones purged shot. But the motivation is the same, namely ensuring the military is in alignment with the Party.

They’re trying to build a one party state.

We are on the precipice of something that’s genuinely dangerous.

Would it help your understanding if I told you it was political?

Do you also understand that people have sincerely held religious objections to the vaccine?

So ... it should have been a dishonorable discharge but because of politics it was a general discharge?

If I'm your son's potential next employer, I'm asking why it was a general discharge and not an honorable one.

As I said earlier, if you've got a problem following orders, the military might not be the place for you.

People have a problem with a lack of integrity at the top. I always thought that there was more to being a general officer besides "following orders"; you know, honor, integrity, being worthy of trust from your subordinates, that sort of minor stuff.

Yeah saw what you wrote, it’s still not worthy of me wasting time on arguing. This discharge might be changed in the future, but yeah it’s certain to be questioned at some point in the future by an employer. I admire my sons character and faith, and btw gfy

So he's a liar? Sounds like to get the "honorable conditions" discharge in the first place. Pops should have taught him better?

Based on what and why is it specific to the covid vaccine? Keep in mind, lying about it is an extra sin.
