I completely disagree. Not only was he NEVER unconscious, it look like he flopped when he fell & he was feigning some weird facial expressions & rollin his eyes around in a way that seemed contrived to me as he was ‘helped’ from the floor!
He's not doing that shite if he's hurt.

Maybe I missed it but Cal didn't go out to him or seem overly concerned

He did come out and check on him

Any idea what happened to the 2nd UK player injured. Fould under the basket and then play stopped for an injured UK player in the Southeast portal.

I was there but couldnt figure out how he ended up out of camera view in portal.

Carried him off too.

It's the punch you don't see coming that hurts you. He neva saw it coming. Clean play.

Missed it. How did they carry him off? Players? Or did they walk him off?
Oh, wait - bet he came back in the game didn't he?

Looked to me like he tried to fake a flop. He runs into Reid with his shoulder and for some reason his head yanks back? He hurt himself.

Like trainers normally carry a guy off...his arm over their shoulder.

I have no idea who he was so likewise have no idea if he played again.

Do you?

Is it possible on the flop he hit his head against the floor and concussed himself.

If the video has truly been scrubbed then the obvious question is when did he get his last booster shot?

Reports oout of Lexington ( UK Message board) are a neck / whiplash type of injury . No word on concussion protocol . Evaluated day to day .

I have in-laws in Kentucky that are huge UK basketball fans. They are hearing that he has a neck injury & is day to day.

I was sitting right by the visitors tunnel last night. He was most definitely out of it. He had no idea where he was. He did not hit his head that I saw at any point during the play. I watched the highlights earlier and slowed that sequence down to see if I could tell what happened.

I think he had a prior concussion that was “re-injured”. I know that’s not the correct word but you get my meaning. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me that would match up with what I saw last night.

Wheeler…if you listened to Cal and the media, you would think Kentucky lost Michael Jordan in the 1st half, not Wheeler.

The excuses rolling out from UK and ESPN (Bilas) last night were laughable. LSU is down a starter (who leads the team in minutes) at Auburn, and it’s very rarely mentioned.

Hell the CBSSports headline started with the injury and then mentioned the fact that LSU won.
