Erik McCoy and Marcus Williams missed yesterday due to illness. They, I believe, cleared the Covid list from a testing standpoint, so maybe they had some lingering symptoms or another sickness. Either way, they should both be back.

Armstead and Ramczyk…who knows

Elsewhere, Kyle Pitts hurt his hamstring yesterday. Jimmy Garoppolo missed yesterday of course with a torn tendon in his thumb. Just my opinion, I’d say he’s very unlikely to play Sunday.

I’ll update through the week

If Pitts doesn't play, the Falcons may be the first team to throw out a squad of shittier WRs than ours

Worried about PJ Williams. Would be a big loss against the Falcons, who torched our secondary last time.

They never cleared protocal. There was belief that they cleared because the Saints acitivated them to the active roster on Saturday. Once the media saw that they were activated they ran with it assuming they had cleared. They had to acitivate them incase they cleared and they could play, but they never cleared protocal by Sunday morning. They will be good to go

Gage would be far and away our #1 this season.

Pitts is a "tight end."

He is a TE by name as much as Graham was a TE when he was with the Saints. They may even split him out more than the Saints used to split out Graham

Those shitty WRs ran up almost 350 receiving yds. on our secondary.

Kyle Shanahan talking about Garoppolo. Says he doesn’t even know if he threw the ball yesterday. Does not sound optimistic.

Asked to give an update on Pitts, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith didn't sound overly optimistic.
"Probably not going to get a lot of clarity," said Smith. "We’ll just see how the week goes."
"We’re not ruling him out today."

#Falcons practice report: Fabian Moreau (ribs) and WR Tajae Sharpe (foot) are at practice. Don’t see TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring).

I don’t know about “far and away”. He has had similar per game production to Harris who has had arguably worse QBs throwing to him.

Yeah and it was rather inexcusable. We didn’t come to play against the Falcons. I think the next 2 weeks, the Falcons got out scored like 80-3. They are garbage. We will win this game in a dominant fashion if our defense plays like they are capable and we do not turn the football over on offense.
