I wish he would have stayed at Ole Miss. He will have them in the top 10 defensively with all the talent they are stock pilling.
Yeah those guys are gonna be dying to play for him.

Durkin has ran 3 man fronts everywhere he’s been in charge. He only ran 4 man at Florida under Muschamp. Seems like an odd fit, but with the 6 DL class the Aggies just got, I expect he will be encouraged to run a 4 man front. Is Santucci out, or is he gonna coach safeties?

This is a really strong hire.

Ive seen everything from santucci being the safeties coach to him staying with the linebackers and TJ Rushing becoming the coach for all DBs. Dont think anyone really knows yet

I've heard he has been negotiating to stay as well (as of Sunday morning), obviously that changes rapidly. I doubt it has much to do with Kiffin being as a-hole, as much as it does the amount of talent that A&M is bringing in and his increase in salary that he will get there.
When you know Kiffin and his agent are lobbying to leave town, why stay as a DC for a guy that has his sights set out the door. If Kiffin doesn’t land Arch Manning, and he likely won’t, he isn’t staying at Ole Miss.

It’s 2022 baw, he might be into gay cheerleaders dressed as military people.

Well he’s a piece of shite so it checks off the “culture fit” box for Texas 8&4feit

Hate this. He’s the real reason we won 10 games this year. Kiffin/Lebby we’re great but there were a few eggs mixed in where Durkin won the game. The back half of the season when Corral was limited was all Durkin.
We are about to find out if Kiffin is ready for the challenge of rebuilding a coaching staff.

If y’all think Kiffin (or any coach) is going to stay or go based on 1 unproven high school QB recruit y’all are wild.

Is that what arch feels like? That 1 Qb will definitely get boosters invested and can build an entire class around him with people who want to play with him

I guess DJ Durkin is ok with players making more $$$$ than him

I’m just saying that OM played a pretty weak slate overall and your defense almost finished outside of the top 100
58th in Yards Per Play allowed, which is the better metric as opposed to total yards per game allowed. Ole Miss runs a high tempo offense, so naturally the defense will play a lot more snaps and give up more yards per game on average.

I like the metric. That's a better measure of what a good defense looks like.
Interesting to see Liberty and San Diego St in the top 10.
