The most we have seen from our golden boy in the NFL is a spectacular showing in the pre-season, and only one run for three yards in the regular season..when is he going to have his break out party?

Jacob is a ROOKIE. What do you expect, him to just be given the starting job because he won a national championship his final year of college?

Hester is a gimmick. They got him to be a short yard specialist. He failed to do that effectively and consistently in the preseason. I seriously doubt the san diego chargers will turn their running attack over to hester. Just being truthful.

I don't know about HEster being a gimmick. NFL teams don't waste draft picks on guys they don't think will help them.

Because he is a fullback...why would they start a rookie fullback. Remember he was a fullback converted tailback in the NCAA. He plays in the NFL now...BTW he starts on kickoff coverage.

It's week 5 of his rookie season, and you've got two of the best backs in the NFL in front of him. Please don't lose sleep over this, guys.

they'll work him into some packages but its far to early to expect him in the backfield at this point.. especially with who's in front of him

He doesn't have the fullback mentality. Les made sure of that.

No, you are wrong, he was just better utilized in our offense. He still played fullback at LSU.
