Looking for suggestions on a nice dinner in Fort Worth this Thursday night.

I've been to both Lonesome Dove and Reata. Any others I should consider or just stick to one of those?

I'd skip Reata. Ain't what it once was.

Check out Wicked Butcher. Went there a few weeks ago and wasn't disappointed.

Maria's and Wishbone & Flynt are two newer restaurants worth looking into. Also, B&B Butcher in Clearfork if you're looking specifically for a steakhouse.

Eta: Clay Pigeon would also be a great choice

How's Ellerbe Fine Foods?

I may not be the best judge of Ellerbe's, the last time I went there was an unusual amount of flies in the restaurant. I'm sure it was an unusual occurrence but I haven't been back in some time.

If you're looking on Magnolia, Nonna Tata is the best Italian around. BYOB and cash only. Hard to go wrong here.

Have also heard good things about Wicked Butcher.

Del Frisco’s is still my go-to in Fort Worth though.

Agree with all of these suggestions.

I’ll add Grace and Paris 7th (call today for a reservation if you go this route).

I haven’t been but I’ve heard from several people that 97 west in The Drover hotel in the stockyards is a solid place. I suggest a reservation wherever you decide.

Del Friscos is always an option too.

It’s decent, but still have some kinks to work out.

Del Friscos downtown

Tacoheads near westside

Bella West for italian

La Choza far west side (almost in Azle) is great

OP wants a nice dinner which rules out TacoHeads (and it’s just average).

Bella West—no. Unless he’s going with a west side country club baw, he will not have a great experience.

La Choza isn’t “nice” and is a minimum 20 minute drive.
