A friend of mine who's a banker close to this location always recommends this for lunch. It's not great by any standards, but I never pay.

Unfortunately there's just not many good Cajun options in Tarrant county with the exception of Tributary in Fort Worth.

Happy hour at Steamworks is always a good time. Definitely order the buffalo wings.

Schoolhouse pizza is a good spot if you happen to be near Purgatory.

East by Southwest is surprisingly decent sushi considering the location.

I may not be the best judge of Ellerbe's, the last time I went there was an unusual amount of flies in the restaurant. I'm sure it was an unusual occurrence but I haven't been back in some time.

If you're looking on Magnolia, Nonna Tata is the best Italian around. BYOB and cash only. Hard to go wrong here.
Maria's and Wishbone & Flynt are two newer restaurants worth looking into. Also, B&B Butcher in Clearfork if you're looking specifically for a steakhouse.

Eta: Clay Pigeon would also be a great choice
Mi Dia is a great choice, highly doubt you will be disappointed. You could also drive a bit further to Southlake. Tons of options there, Del Frisco's Grille, Moxie's, Trulucks, etc.

As others said, not much in HEB proper, unless you want fast casual chains line Torchy's or Hopdoddy.

Horshoe Hill. It's in the stockyards.

Stop by the Heaven Hill distillery and pick up a bottle of old Fitzgerald. They typically have ones you won't find anywhere else.
If you're wanting to eat around the stockyards before the concert, Horseshoe Hill is probably you're best bet for something more casual.

Cooper's bbq is directly across the street from Billy Bob's and is pretty decent. Get the beef rib if you end up there.

Love Shack has good hamburgers if you're looking for something very casual, but it's all outdoor seating. Depending on the weather it might not be a good option.
