I get the 25th… but nobody cries for me when I am working 28-30 hours most of the year.

About a week and a half. Although if I don't answer emails during my time off I will end up with a horrendous week back in January.

Three weeks that started on the 18th of December. It’s been pretty nice to finally have some time off.

Two days officially for Xmas/NY. But, burning 2021 vacation at years' end. Worked through 12/18 but off now until Jan 3.

Working 13/1s, 12 hours, since the storm. First consecutive days off work since Ida. Took the first week to recover and stop sleeping until 11AM every morning.

I work for a soul crushing multinational. They give me a month a year and when I take it, I am constantly called by clients to deal with shite. I was on a Christmas Day conference call this year. It is looking like I will be laboring well into the evening on NYE, even though my employer is “closed”

I'm my own boss so I can take as much time as I want, however, I find that it requires me to be very structured in how I set up my work and complete my tasks for clients. Also, I tend to at least tend to important emails while I am "off".

We close down for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. I usually take this week between the two off. I didn’t this year though because I have work that needs to be done by next Monday.

I work for myself and didn't even look at my email for 3 days. Back at it at 5AM this morning.

At a little after 8AM a friend called to tell me that there were several projects relocating a refinery and chemical plants to Bangladesh. Who knew? All older plants and from the Middle East. A company called him to refurbish the SVG integral compressors, 30,000 HP worth. Experienced chemical engineers will understand that none have been made in at least 3 decades.

I think I get four days of holiday this time of the year.
I don’t even know for sure. Five weeks of vacation a year and I’m rolling three into next year

I usually work New Years Eve and New Years day so others can take off. Most of the time we end up closing early. I would rather take off when everyone else is working so that the stores / restaurants, etc aren't crowded.
