Auburn fan here looking forward to the game Wednesday. I've watched a few game highlights of y'all's but that never tells the whole story.

Best D you will see all year.... Pretty much sums it up

Great defense. (Great)
Good in transition
Show spurts on offense. Ball tends to stick and we have trouble creating in half court a lot of times

Honestly two very similar teams. I would say your interior defense will be much better than anything LSU has faced.
The name of the game is if LSU can hit shots during crunch time. Looking forward to the matchup.
My non-homer prediction is Auburn by 4-8 range.
Homer prediction LSU by 5.

I asked for a fair breakdown. I know LSU has a great defense based on stats the comment felt disingenuous

Not here; this board has canonized Will Wade. You won’t get any honest assessment.

-Points come off TO
- athletic, deep roster
- poor 3pt shooting
- avg guard play
- active on boards
- good FT shooting team. Doesn’t draw ton of fouls tho
Defense has smothered opponents but IMO, have played some really poor backcourts. Auburn will be a great barometer.
If LSU can’t turnover Auburn I have a feeling Auburn will trade 3 for 2 and pull away late
On paper, LSU has guys to match Jabari.

That comment wasn't disingenuous at all. The defense is great and the offense is pretty much Jeckyl and Hyde.

We are much more athletic than the last 2 years, but less skilled. Our defense dictates the flow of the game and we have successfully sped everyone up and got them to turnover the ball over and rush shots. Offensively, if we can make perimeter shots we will be very hard to beat, but we haven’t shot it well all year against decent competition.
If Eason plays I think we win a close one, if he doesn’t play you will probably blow us out.

Why shouldn't LSU fans be excited about the job Wade is doing?

8 man rotation. Good length and athleticism at multiple spots. Defense has been great (No 1 in the nation), but has only played one solid high major team (Wake Forest). 10 of LSU’s 12 wins have come by double digits.
Offensively they are nowhere close to as good as they were last season. Their outside shooting is streaky, at best. FT shooting is very good as is their offensive rebounding (which makes up for the outside struggles). LSU’s top scorer (Eason) comes off the bench. They have a 5 star Freshman 6’11 Center who is a highly skilled throwback post player. However, LSU doesn’t run the offense through him all that much.
LSU has often started slow, but played well enough defensively to hang around until the offense gets going in the second half.
This will be LSU’s first true road game of the season.
Wade and Pearl like each other and often look to recruit the same players. Both will know the other’s personnel well. Auburn is the more balanced team and should win at home. This will be the biggest test to date for LSU

They struggled with 3 pt shooting until last game
Hopefully that’s a good sign

And you irrationally hate him and offer nothing to basketball threads that isn’t trashing him

I thought we was going to talk basketball?.
I expect our guards to struggle against LSUs athletes. I think it'll be a game in low 60s
