I found Normandy fascinating but it is long for a day trip. Save that for another time. With only four days I would spend it all in Paris. If you want to take a shot and easy day trip catch the RER train from the Place St.Michel metro station to Versailles. You can get in and skip the lines there and elsewhere with a multi day museum pass.
