Rough stretch. But 5-3 would be solid imo. Hell 4-4 wouldnt be bad. Then maybe finish going 7-4 or 8-3 in last 11 games.

I wouldn't be ecstatic but it's realistic. I wouldn't melt like most of this place would.

I’d be fine with that as long as they clean up in the middle of the schedule. that’s where we go up against some of the lower tier teams

if we start .500 or better through our first 8 games, We should win the SEC.

It's just too good this year to expect anyone to have fewer than 5 losses in conference.

I think the standings will shake out (Record wise, not team wise) like the '17/'18 season.

1. 13-5
2. 13-5
3. 11-7
4. 10-8
5. 10-8
6. 10-8

Maybe not to that level, but I do think the league winner will have a handful of conference losses.

I think 13-5 could win you the conference, 14-4 should win you the conference, 15-3 will win you the conference.

It’s an absolute GAUNTLET so, yes. Win the home games and try to steal one on the road and you’ll be sitting pretty to end conference play

I’d be happy with 5-3. That’s assuming we do as well as expected when the schedule eases up.

Well, we aren't losing to A&M,
so the question really is would you be happy with 4-3 after the first 7 extremely hard games.
ANd my answer would be yes, i'd be very happy with that. 4 of the 7 are on the road.

After the first 7, we should really only lose 3 games tops to close the season out. If we go 12-6 in the SEC, we'll probably be a 2 or 3 seed depending on how our Q1 W/L looks

5-3 would be quite an accomplishment

I think 5 wins through 8 will win us the conference this year.

The more I see Bama and Arky play, the more I'm thinking 6-2 with some fluke arse loss to a team on the road or something.

Call me crazy but to date, I think the LSU at Auburn game next week is for the SEC Championship. I know it is early but if we can beat them there, we will have the regular season tiebreaker. Game is HUGE

5-3 would be amazing. 4-4 would be acceptable. Anything above 5-3 and HOLY shite.

The opening stretch isn't looking as difficult as we get closer to it.

Arkansas kind of sucks. Alabama is slumping. LSU shouldn't lose to Kentucky or Tennessee at home. Florida kind of sucks. At Auburn will probably be the toughest game.

Still tho, each of the first 8 teams are better than anyone lsu has played to date.

There will be hiccups that people will question because LSU is “undefeated”.

Wake Forest probably beats Arkansas and Texas A&M.. Maybe even Florida on a neutral court.

Knowing you you will be the first to pile on and say that the roster is poorly constructed and Wade will get sanctions soon.

Looking at the first 7 league games I would be ecstatic with a 5-2 start and still feel good at 4-3. Our schedule is extremely front loaded so either beginning would have us in great shape for the rest of the season. This is barring any injury of course.
