re: Football Scoop is reporting Mike Denbrock and Matt House as Kelly's coordinators.

This is accurate. You don’t become the winningest active coach in college football without being able to adapt. Kelly’s offense can adapt to personnel. He sold Brennan his vision in one phone call. Kelly can communicate and he’s a winner.
I’m looking forward to having a running game again myself. His offenses at ND were pretty balanced. Ran it more than they threw it. Run games make things so much easier for QB’s.

Thank you. Without that context, it was a strange post.

At the bottom i wrote this is for all the people who don't think brad white turned the job down.
There were many. I bet they still believe it.

Even with the tag line at the end, it read as your own words and opinion because you didn’t identify it as a quote. It looked odd and that’s what I commented on.
As for whether White turned us down or not, I really don’t care. Some of you guys really get up in your feels over a coaching search.

I get that.
I'm not getting in my feels but when everyone on here acts like you are crazy for saying a simple fact you want to set the record straight.

Only if it’s a perceived negative about Kelly

Many journalists have said the same thing.
I'm sure a couple of them contacted white.
Crazy that people are fighting so hard against brad white turning the job down.

So, you think kelly told white he didn't want him.
Then kelly hires matt house who runs basically the same defense. Just doesn't add up.
Ksr reports that LSU was willing to pay White $2 million annually, which would have made the top 10 of all college football assistants in 2020.
Kelly wanted white at notre dame but hired marcus freeman instead. White was supposedly his backup choice.

I'm not fighting for shite. I don't have a clue if White turned Kelly down. Neither do you, and neither do the journalists you're citing. You think these journalists have 2 independent sources for the information they're putting out there? I'm afraid that practice is long dead, so unless it's a direct quote, I feel it's best to take what they say as opinion rather than fact.
Do you believe the journalist that said Monken turned Kelly down?

Denbrock hire is shitty plain and simple. It's Kelly's offense there so you couldn't expect an elite name anyway and I doubt Denbrock is allowed to fully run his shitty scheme over here. It will take concepts and mesh them with BK's concepts. You're basically getting an offense similar to Jimbo Fisher with Denbrock but a little different. This is BK's offense. We don't currently have personnel to run Denbrock's scheme so if they fully wanted to run it they'd need to hit portal or they won't be running heavy TE sets? Do we even have a single true TE on the roster?
House I think is an interesting hire I like that if it happens. Maybe this is why White was around? They missed on White but wanted that Stoops tree so he went down to House? Or maybe he realized House was a better hire? He was good at Kentucky.
One guy who will feast is going to be Bech. I expect big numbers from him next year. I really hope BK decides to run a more wide open offense at LSU. Time will tell I suppose. I fully expect him to run something to LSU's current personnel strengths whatever that might be. I think this just really proves Denbrock is nothing but a figurehead to run his offense as a yes man. I would not be shocked if BK looks at LSU's WR talent including Bech and decides it's better to sling it.
If Davis is here next year he could also have a big year. I think this is why he targeted Denbrock since he's so familiar with BK plus the RPO concepts he runs. Davis can't run outside the tackles and has been used wrong most of his LSU career. In an RPO offense where he's bashing it up the middle he can be far more effective.

It's a TD tradition. The majority dislike a certain candidate until he's hired by LSU, then they all convince themselves that it was an amazing hire.
Literally never fails.

We almost never run TDP outside the tackles.
90% if his Carrie’s have been inside zone. Which is an inside run

I think it is SOP for a coach to say they turned a job down. Whether that is actually the case who knows.

Exactly. Just like it's SOP for employers to deny offering the job to anyone.
You can't trust this type of "reporting" at all and honestly I'm not sure why people even care. It's basically all just fodder for the rant.
