That’s correct. You can use your spots of the 25 on transfers plus the 7 match transfers. LSU is gonna hopefully hammer the portal this year. Will certainly expedite the rebuild.

This makes a lot more sense, thanks for clarification.
In that case, the portal is the future. Supply will outweigh demand in the near-term, and in the portal you have a bit of a better idea in what you are getting, and an incoming portal player has less time to lose and less likely to transfer again. Players will churn through the portal at a very high rate
It sucks for the sport, but LSU is a position to benefit greatly from this. Have to add 32 this year and better to not be all true fresh
