Your response shows how big of a freaking idiot you truly are. Alabama offensive line wasn’t close to elite and they did suck all year long. The only game they really showed up was Georgia. Go back and watch the tape.

That's rich, coming from you, considering you just said this:

quote:

I think Mac Jones had an equally good season in 2020. I think Bryce Young also had a great season in 2021.

No, they didn't. Not even close.

quote:

And if you have watched Bryce Young run then look at his head and eyes. They are always looking downfield before he gets to the line of scrimmage. He’s trying to find a open receiver to throw the ball to not find a running lane. Whether it’s by choice or scheme, or design, Alabama does not have any running packages set up for Young. They also did not seem to have any counters for blitz packages in their play designs. No draws, no quick screens to the running back, no counters, and no sprint rollout to assist him.

Hmm... I wonder why they don't have any running packages set up for him, if, as you claim, they can't run the ball? Why wouldn't a guy with "great running ability", I don't know,TRY TO MAKE A PLAY once in a while to help with that? Could it be because he isn't any good at that? I don't think you understand what I meant when I said I've watched him try to run, so I'll say it again: I have seen him ACTUALLY running with the football when he's flushed out of the pocket, and he moves as though there were bricks on his feet. I don't have to watch his eyes. It's not a decision process, it's an actual case of a guy struggling to run forward, away from defenders. Hopefully that clears that up.

And, just in case you didn’t know, the Heisman is given prior to the bowl games so what Burrow did during the college football playoffs has no relevance or bearing on the award.

Why do you assume this is an argument solely about numbers at the time of the award being given out? I pretty clearly said Burrow had a far better "season" than any other QB has ever had. And you STILL leave out the context of the competition Burrow faced, and how he often barely passed in the second half because, unlike Alabama this year, LSU wasn't struggling to beat crappy teams. There is something called "efficiency". Bryce Young doesn't remotely compare in that category.

Sorry, but no. Burrow made game changing plays more frequently than any of those you list.

I hated Tebow. Hated him when he played for Florida.

Because he was the best college football player I ever saw and didn't play for LSU.

Put Bo or Herschel in the spread, single back with four wide, and one of them could run for 3000 in a 12 game regular season.
