I wonder if the reports of years past of him “not wanting” a DC job or anything more than just a DB coach we’re correct?

Seems weird he’s leaving for Florida now when it seems like our program has a real chance to climb to the top again, unless he got a bigger pay raise or a chance to have a more prominent role

It's crazy how ppl turned on Coach Raymond for a lateral move, yet Frank is a hero after leaving McNeese for a step down

Just incase reads this thread.

Don’t come back begging in 3 years when Napier is fired, you trader.

I don’t thank quitters and that’s one thing Raymond had proved he can develop.

there’s no way you actually believe this. He went from being a gas station general manager to an executive at Exxon. Being the boss at a shite job doesn’t make that shite job superior buddy

he’s probably thinking thank god I’m not in a state where people cannot spell anymore. We don’t know why he left or if he was even asked to stay. It’s all speculation.

I'm sure there are more, but 3 guys I always heard people say they weren't interested in being a Coordinator/HC were Raymond, Adam Henry, & Frank. I'm not sure what caused Frank to make the leap, but maybe he realized after the fact that he was happiest at LSU.

for losing Patrick Surtain as a recruit in 2018.

guarantee Frank Wilson would have locked him up. The only DB we signed in 2018 class was Kelvin Joseph & guess what.. he transferred.

There is a reason Raymond wasn’t counter offered / retained. The fact that certain former players who now work for woke ESPN are as pissed as they are, tells you everything you need to know.

LSU is about football again.

Sometimes LSU is DBU.... and sometimes, they're DBWHO. As a DB coach, you gotta coach basics and be able to coach/communicate during key plays.
