Yes. That’s more accurate.
A letter from the department of labor made some advisory statements. I’ll see if I can find it.

I would think so based on it was never enacted in the first place. Only guidelines.

My company is requesting that all employees register their vaccination status and scan in copies of their vaccination cards to prepare for the January 4th vax mandate deadline. This initiative is to prepare for the POSSIBILITY that the courts do not overturn the vax mandates. Employees who do not respond will be registered as not vaccinated.
Similar stance as ours.
What's amusing is it only applies to salary people, not hourly.
I guess if you're paid by the hour, you can't get Covid.
Who knew?

What would truly piss me off would be if the drug manufacturer and the US Gvt passed along their liability to employers.
It’s happened a lot throughout history.

It's pretty clear if one is a healthy, young employee before the vaccine and then you're dead, deaf or have cardiovascular problems all of a sudden after you receive the experimental, employer-mandated vaccine.
All those professional and college athletes (Euro soccer players, NBA players, Deion Sanders, U of Minnesota RB) aren't dropping dead or being hospitalized randomly, it's right after they get the vaccine. If pro athletes are being affected, cubicle workers aren't escaping the pretty clear major side effects.
I know that. And you know that. But good luck proving it in this political climate.

DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.

Healthcare is the part of the company I work for. We are in several other industries as well.

Our company directive does not distinguish between hourly and salaried employees. It claims that HR is the only department having access to the vax records. I am debating whether or not to comply. Why am I to be compelled to give my medical history to HR, especially an employee who works remote from home and has zero customer contact? What kind of stigma is attached to an employee who controls his own health records? I guess they want to know, in advance, the # of employees will be required to have weekly covid testing.

Awesome!
All of the cowards who gave in because, "Well, if my JOB tells me I have to I have no choice" are going to wish they'd had enough balls to wait it out.
My perspective is that eventually the world (or at least America) will come to it's senses or we are destined for a crash and the Great Reset. If the good guys win, you never needed the shot. If the bad guys win, your job is gone anyway.

wonder what the liability is for the company should an employee forced to take the "vaccine" suffer a major adverse effect.
Some will have the stones/$/legal network to effectively win, many will negotiate out of it at a reasonable cost & some will get their asses raped.
I’ll be toasting when the category of “got their asses raped” transpires.

Strange times indeed. At my former place of work, the corporation dangled the 'or else' carrot and folks were quick to insert the proverbial root in any available orifice.

I left my workday task on the vaccine open in my portal. I get pinged from time to time to complete it but I have not and will not.
It even asks if I'd like to have a religious or medical exemption, which I could use, but I am simply refusing to provide the information requested.
They keep moving the deadline for completion, and I know they're not doing that because of little ole me. We riding

What they can’t mandate they mandate businesses to mandate.
We need to get our new conservative congress critters to commit to banning the use of Medicare Extortion in forcing hospitals and doctors to go along with vaccines. The extortion started with the worthless flu vaxxes and now the covid poison.
The threaten to cut off hospitals from medicaid, medicare if they don't do what they tyrannically want. This needs to be outlawed.

quote:Coerced? You mean something like "Get the jab, or you are fired."?
This sums up my take on it as well. People still took it voluntarily. You can argue you were coerced, but I don't think that will fly.
At the very least, you'll see a plethora of wrongful termination lawsuits, especially from those fired who were denied religious exemptions. The lawyers dreams are going to be the one's who were actually injured by the vax. The EUA only protects big pharm, not the companies that forced their employees to submit or join the unemployment lines.

All it takes is one case to go to trial, with a big verdict result, to get EVERYONE to back the frick up. That's why you are now seeing companies suddenly backtracking. They've been knee-deep in meetings with their lawyers.

I did get a religious exemption...

Glad to hear this. I know you've been fighting the good fight. Didn't you have to go back and prove your religious exemption? If so, it worked. Mind sharing what you said to them?
On another note... This is exactly what happens when people take a stand. We are the majority.

Same here. Was given to the 4th of January to comply or be fired. I held out and the mandate was squashed lastnjght via email from the head honchos.
I was one that held out too. I was feeling the heat with supervisors reminding me daily to get in compliance...my answer was I have time and won't be rushed. A few of my coworkers went ahead and got the Vax and are kicking themselves in the butt today. I hate it for them. I am thankful for the federal judges that over ruled the mandate, and I'm very pleased I stood my ground.
It's a good day.
