If we could have spent the $4 million on OC's and DC's the last 2 years, where would the program be today?

Tell me how much the coordinators made in 2020. I’m curious.

$3.3 million for Steve Ensminger and Bo Pelini

Ouch.

Peetz: $1.2 million
Jones: $1.3 million

So new...
OC: $3.2 million
DC: $3.3 million

No good coordinators wanted to work under O

He inherited E and Aranda and got lucky with Brady

We didn’t have hiring issues because of lack of pay. It was because our coach was Orgeron. Too many red flags

Close to the same spot. The problem at lsu was alot bigger than just coordinators. You cant see that? The players quitting. Recruiting gaps and misses. No attention to fixing nutrition/conditioning. Having starting players not eligible a week before the season for wrong classes.

Still have to find coordinators that want to work under O.

Weren't they willing to offer close to this to Freeman and Brady?

Where would O be if he had never inherited Aranda and Ensminger?

Well the players weren't quitting or leaving during the 2019 run. That was nice to see for a change. Recruiting definitely missed hard. I wish LSU would fix the compliance crap.

What OC or DC did we offer $3 million to? Would Freeman have turned down the job for $3.3 million???

What OC turns down the job for over $3 million?

Never heard of Freeman turning down $3 million. And if Brady was offered $3 million in November of 2019, I think he signs.

Finally, are you really going to say that Orgeron inherited a TE coach that he had the guts to promote to OC as some sort of slight? Miles inherited Ensminger as well...

I was thinking more like 2 million each since OP said 4 million.

Good point as well.

Where did O rank as far as highest paid college coaches? From my understanding O was the 2nd highest paid coach in all of football heading into this season?

.

Would Coach O even interview a group of coordinators, especially ones that did run the Joe Brady offense or the Pete Caroll defense?

9-11 ( I don’t recall the exact number) O and D lineman, including his projected left tackle, left when O was hired and there was NO PORTAL.
