My theory on what's gonna happen with LSU head coaching

Brian Kelly wins three or four national championships and then retires. Frank Wilson then takes over and - wash, rinse, and repeat happens.

When I saw he was hired my first reaction was they promised to him he would be head coach in waiting but I don’t wanna get ahead of myself. But maybe. I think they will try to groom him into that.

This. I am excited to have him around the program in a high level position getting paid a few million a year, but not has head coach. He showed nothing as HC at smaller programs to indicate he was going to be successful.

Well in Frank's defense, his head coaching mentor/example was Les Miles.
I think it's safe to say he could learn a lot more, and pick up better habits and advice from CBK.
That's just my. 02. I don't know if he's HCIW or whatever and really don't care.
