And Miami is cutting their own throat... is Manny or his staff going to go out and recruit hard 10 days before ESD? Are they going to at all? Since they won't fire him, but aren't even trying to hide the fact they are trying to replace him does he go nucleur with recruits to tank it?
And how does that help Cristobal. Obviously, it doesn't. So much so he might back out. Then the whole team and program is fricked.
In the meantime, Manny finds another job so he doesn't have to worry about buyout.

This would be the best AD job to get, you get now heat if their coach sucks and in 3-5 years you get to fix it. You basically have a 6 year guarantee minimum

University Presidents don't hire HCs and usually have nothing do with with a coaching search. They do what they are told and if they don't they get removed.
The real issue at Miami is they have over 50(!!!) board of trustee members. LINK That's waaaaay too many people jockeying for position.
