Offensive Suggestion Maker
Joe Brady is a great OSM when working with an elite OC.

Why was Ensminger’s offense so bland before and after him?

I believe Brady taught ensminger the ins and outs of the scheme, but calling plays on gameday is a different beast, and E handled most of that

It seemed clear to everyone, that Brady was running plays. We know for sure he was calling plays on 3rd down and in the red zone.

Steve Ensminger coached for almost 40 years. He owned the offense at LSU. Joe Brady definitely helped, but to believe Brady taught Ensminger the ins and outs is insulting.
Geez, think about what you are saying.

Then explain the offense in 2018 and 2020?

Dude Brennan threw for 1100 yards and 11 TDs before he got hurt. There wasn’t nothing wrong with the offense. He then had to teach 2 true freshmen QBs how to play. Did Max look better last year or this year?

Defense was the downfall in 2020. FACT.

Joe Burrow full offseason to work with WR's, E implemented spread offense. Perfect storm. Joe Brady got way too much credit. Coach O is to blame for that. O pumped up wonder boy so much that he screwed himself. He never though in a million years that an NFL team would offer him an OC position after just one year as OSM. That's the truth. Wonder boy was celebrated at ever press conference so O could look good. "Look at my new wonder boy hire, he invented the passing game". In the end the OSM wonder boy screwed coach O which was so fitting.
Coach E was/IS the real hero!

Show me 1 elite Ensminger offense without Joe Brady.
You know what Elite OCs don’t do? Install a shittier version of their offense in year 1.

Kind of like they both benefitted from Senior Burrow?

Why didn’t his 2018 offense benefit from JOe Burrow?
He jumped from 16 TDS (8 against Rice and UCF) to 60 TDS.
You gonna really say that’s a spring game difference?
If you watched the 2018 and 2019 offenses and can’t tell they were drastically different at a fundamental level let me know, so I can ignore you

What’s the deal with your weird jealousy towards young, successful coaches? Kinda weird that you spend 80% of your 125 posts shitting on Napier and now Brady. Get over it you petty old loser

Ensminger got demoted twice in 3 years. Lmao

Like when it really counted?

And LSU lost two games because we couldn't convert on 3rd down or score in the red zone, the stuff that Brady did in 19.

The same people shitting on Brady, are the same people that wanted Tommy Rees.
Not sure why Brady is being drug through the mud. He brought concepts to LSU we have never used.
Some of you are to emotional, Brady left LSU after 1 year so he is bad.
Hiring Brady and moving Peetz to Passing game coordinator/RB coach would save LSU about $1m in buyout money.

I'll tell you what Brady brought here that Orgeron wasn't able to recreate and that no other OC we had or have has been able to do either:
Coaching the WRs, QB, and RBs into a cohesive read-based system.
We're still stuck in the mold of a coach for each of those positions, which is fine. But unless you have an OC that can do what Brady did and get them integrated with reads, not play calls, it will not function like it should.
Normally there would be push back from each of those position coaches when someone like Brady gets in their area of operation, but in 2019 it was all so new no one complained.
So find a guy that can do that, or get Brady back. If it is the OC, fine. If not give him any frigging title you want and CBK will just have to make sure everybody understands that there is no territories here.

According to the interview Mickey joseph just gave, joe Brady called the play 3and 17 at Texas. Which wasn’t a red zone play. So that comment suggests Brady was the play caller
