At what point do we hit panic mode with the team as a whole going forward?

Does Sean have a vision as far as what needs to happen next season? I'm starting to feel like the fact that the HC and GM completely run this organization could be a blessing and a curse.

The O-line is a triage unit. The WRs are the 4 best dudes Sean could find at a local gym. Our 4 best DEs combine to be 1.5 available players per week. Our by far #1 QB is done for the year.

If any coach could lead this team to the playoffs, you should give them $20m per year for the rest of their life.

The team was 5-2 and about to take over the division lead when Winston went down. Add a ton of injuries to that and it’s no surprise they are losing. But, there is no reason to panic. This team has holes but also a lot of talent.

If everyone is healthy this is still as top 5 or 10 roster.

I don’t understand the Payton hate. No coach in NFL history could take a team with the injuries the Saints have to starters and win games. Not one coach. None of them. None.

We will be back next year with a healthy team and a high draft pick that will help the team immediately. This is a down year for us.

It’s top 5 talent easy. When healthy there aren’t more than 5 teams with more talent. Need a qb and another receiver and this team can beat anyone.

Just sucks cause we could've used the payton turner pick to trade back and pick a receiver.

Saints are bottom feeders until they find another competent QB. It could be a while tho

Give next season a chance. This is a catastrophic collection of injuries the team is dealing with. Give us an off-season to heal and acquire a couple new players. That’s assuming we resign Jameis which is no sure thing. We could have Russell Wilson for all we know.

Winston is a competent QB with a high ceiling. Get that man a couple of decent WRs and we will be back to 2020 level offence almost immediately.

2023 or 2024 season is where Payton needs to show the success wasn’t just Brees. They have a handful of needs, but they are also in deep shite w the cap that will take 1-2 more years to claw out of. As difficult as it is to watch, I’d rather them rip off the bandaid and let the team suck the rest if this year and all of next year just to stop kicking the can down the road. Then you’ll have a fresh start in ‘23 w hopes that you land some quality picks in ‘22 & ‘23.

Waiting until ‘24 is simply to give a young QB time to develop. If they go vet route (or stick w Winston) then ‘23 is the year for Payton to prove himself.

Most important thing is to get out of this cap hell ASAP

Everyone knew this season without Drew would be a disaster.

If you didn’t hit the panic button before the end of Drews career you don’t pay much attention to saints football.

But it wasn’t a disaster until all the injuries piled up. 5-2 with no Michael Thomas and no Brees..
