Caught this stunner on my trip to the Everglades. Just some teaser photos - we caught 76 out of 127 snakes found, and caught 20 out of 22 species seen. I’ll make a longer post when I get time (just got home after a 14 hour drive).

But this is easily the most beautiful cottonmouth I’ve ever seen, and probably the most stunning snake face I’ve seen.

By the way, they also grow cottons big down there too…

I'd ask if you're worried about getting bit, but I think the snake should be more worried

Beautiful like a freshly painted steel target at the range with a perfectly sighted in scope.

Lots of beautiful things are dangerous in nature, and definitely something that when you see that beauty, you need to be very cautious… and that goes for humans, too…

May I ask where you are based out of? I have a Crawfish Farm that you would have a field day in.

There is also biblical proof that Adam and Eve were not black folks.

I enjoy looking at pictures of them. Don't really enjoy seeing them when I'm hunting/fishing.

I love watching them swim. Floating high like a battleship.

If you cut that head off you can put it on a keychain, or just carry in your pocket. May wanna think about that.

I’ll say it-cottonmouths aren’t beautiful.They give me the creeps.
I don’t see nearly as many water snakes since alligators are so prolific.I like alligators.
