It's a meme coin. I am into crypto, but not into crypto without intrinsic value.

It is no longer a meme coin. It has backing of utilities unlike any other meme coin which it started out as.

Are people still talking about this coin? I remember when my old co-worker who was the drunk guy obsessed with Star Wars and was 4x divorced hyping this coin up and bragging how he had dumped $5,000 into it for him just to get pissed when we asked him about it 3 months later

This is a little disingenuous. It dropped the zero that it added back in August. The same zero it just added again this morning.
Bitcoin has been on a tear in 2023 and is at highs for the year. Shibu would need to go up 40% to match its 2023 highs.
As with penny stocks, I feel like everyone needs to learn the lesson of meme coins the hard way. Good luck!
