I'm with you. When people say "Black lives matter", there's no reason why anyone should get offended. I don't know of anyone who gets offended over that.

My question though is, why do you guys get triggered if anyone says "All lives matter"? Is it because it's not true in your view? or are you triggered someone would dare say "All lives matter" as an answer to "Black lives matter"? Why would that bother you? Are you that much of an attention whore virtue signaler?

The organization titled exactly that is Marxist AND funnels money dishonestly to the DNC.

I am sure as shite offended that it is virtually impossible to avoid donating to democrats because so many corporations have caved to try to make someone else a bigger target.

Saying black lives matter meaning to not reference the organization is idiotic because nobody was saying they don't

BLM is a protection racket just like the mob.

"Sure is a nice laundry you have here, would be terrible if it was burned down, wouldn't it?"

They think it's like someone with a gunshot wound being told that someone else's paper cut matters as well.

Problem is, whites are more likely to be killed by police when you factor in police interaction so it's actually the white population that has a worse wound.

I personally DGAF about demographics, so long as each individual is being treated correctly.

Miscommunication

When people say black lives matter and someone says all lives matter in response. People think you are dismissing black lives matter and you are automatically a racist. Which is false.... I'm just the messenger after talking to many ones who support black lives matter.

I don't get "offended" by much of anything. But I do find it absurd to say this as if any significant portion of the population thinks otherwise.

It may not be offensive, but it's insulting (whether I'm personally insulted or not--I'm not, because I consider the source). It's really mostly degrading to black people and it is (or should be) embarrassing for those using this slogan to morally self license and signal their virtues to??? Whom???

Hey double anonymous coward downvoter, come and defend your infantile position.

Whoops read your post too fast, black lives matter supporters don't agree with all lives matter. Due to the police brutality and many other topics in the link I posted in my thread. But like I stated previously they also believe you are dismissing black lives matter. If we all actually listened to one another and loved one another. The world would be a better place.

Sorry I keep responding to your post. But I know it will be one poster who will say what about black on black violence in response to black lives matter??. But couldn't that be said about white on white crime? Mexican on Mexican? And etc. My point is everyone should be held accountable to everything they do. I'm out

That would be a lot easier if the new prog left didn't silence everyone who disagrees with their dogma.

There is a difference in BLM the phrase and BLM the group. That's the issue that so many don't seem to get

Disagreeing with a group that works in violence means you hate black people apparently

I’ve dismissed BLM bc I don’t care for the way they behave. I think they are basically strong arming people by force to comply or get run over. I’m not a racist but I could give two shits about that organization. I honestly think they are bad for the black community bc it’s another crutch instead of giving people personal responsibility to do better.

The other issue that I have is that a micro issue became the battle call against the police when the real boogeyman lies in the community. Gangs, gangster rap culture, shitty family units(equates to shitty people not raising their kids), shitty schools, and planned parenthood have devastated the black community.

That's like saying "white power" and claiming not to be associated with the KKK.

I've made that comparison before, and will continue to do so as long as idiots actually believe stuff like what you posted.

bruh

The group is nothing but a Marxist hate group/major money laundering operation. They don’t give a single crap about black lives and don’t operate in any facts.

The phrase is fine but should focus more on the insane amount of black on black murder that goes on every week if they really wanted to make a difference

13% of the population commits 53% of murders, actually 6% because half are men. that is a MAJOR ISSUE>

“Black lives matter” as a phrase isn’t the same as BLM the political movement.

When someone says “black lives matter”
I can easily agree and say “they sure do”.

When someone wants me to support “Black Lives Matter” the political movement, I know that persons political and social views do not align with mine and I’m better off to end the conversation and move along

It's pretty simple: If you believe black people are oppressed, it makes perfect sense. If you don't, it doesn't make sense.

That's it, that's all there is to it.
