A group of lawmakers is planning to request a congressional investigation of a $418 million U.S. weapons sale to Kenya approved by the Obama administration on its last day in office.

The sale, approved by the State Department and privately notified to Congress on January 19, would allow Kenya to buy 14 weaponized crop-duster-like planes — including two trainer planes and services, for missions against terrorist group al-Shabaab.

Absolutely totally legit I'm sure.

Sending planes capable of dispersing chemical weapons to an African country. What could go wrong?

Especially when the company building them was double the other bid.

And they've never build one before.

Like I said, totally legit. I'm sure the Obama dick suckers will be along shortly to defend this.

The Mooresville, N.C. company, IOMAX USA Inc., costed out 14 planes at $237 million dollars, according to a Budd aide.

Wow a veteran owned company that specializes in building these planes submitted a bid for half the cost yet wasn't considered.

They went with the bid that was twice the price from s company that had never built the plane???

What did Obama know and when did he know it?

It didn't read like any bids were submitted. The other company didn't even know about the deal until it was announced by the State Department.

I'm guessing that this will do what most congressional investigations do. Many long speeches. Much grandstanding and bipartisanship. Much money spent and little or no results determined and no one punished.

Frankly, I don't care if Obama was being totally selfless in his actions. I hope congress shits on everything Obama has done. It's time for the libs to go on the defense.
