So a debate with a Republican and Democrat got more views that a single Republican town hall and you call that a win for DeSantis . You realize alot of Democrats watched to see Newsome right ? No Democrats tuned in for Trump. Geez you Ronbots have small brains .

I would hope to god that 2 fricking candidates can get more viewers for a major one time interesting debate than one dude doing a one hour show that everybody has already watched a thousand times

This, and that debate sounds like it may have done serious damage to Gavin as people finally get to see him as a failed, empty suit, with too much hair gel.

Even Newsom himself said he couldn’t quite figure out why Desantis would agree to this to begin with. I mean, it’s like a Presidential debate, but not among current Presidential election/primary candidates. Desantis didn’t have anything to gain in terms of getting a leg up on his opponent, as the other guy wasn’t his opponent. Free national publicity for GN, no possible gains on an opponent for RD. And yes, it did give a healthy shot of “credibility” to Newsom, as it must’ve demonstrated that he was such a viable candidate that hell he was challenged years in advance.
