GOP “support the nominee” pledge tracker

On Friday last week, the RNC released the requirements to participate in the first GOP debate, one of which was you must pledge to support the GOP nominee.
I haven’t seen any candidate make the pledge yet. It is imperative every candidate make the pledge. We can’t beat Biden with a fractured party or with any candidate reserving the option to fracture the party which in itself will cause fracturing. We must commit to being united now, all of us. Beating Biden takes priority over everything.
I will update OP as we learn each candidate’s position on the pledge.

Pledges can be revoked.
True, but making the pledge then revoking will result in that candidate not getting as much support due to going back on their word.

I personally don't believe in the pledge and think it's silly.
3/4 of us on this board lean GOP but aren't actual Republitards. Especially when the swamp makes up the majority of existing politicians.

Just to put a stop to the nonsense that Trump or someone else will run 3rd party...
Once you are running for President for a particular party and don't get the nomination, its incredibly hard to get on ballots as a 3rd party candidate in most states, due to "Anti-Spoiler" laws.
Its really not a thing that will happen.

In order to have a functional party, the candidates have to agree to it. If they don’t, and the losers of the primary launch presidential bids under different party labels, you give the election to the Democrat party.

While I will support whatever Republican short of extreme shenanigans with "super delegtaes", I would St. Thomas More this thing.

These guys use RNC money. They have to follow some RNC guidelines. If they don’t want to, run as an independent.

Dumb af. Desantis has already gone way over the threshold for Trump to support him, yet you think if DJT were to lose, he should put all his marbles in Ron's camp?
F all that noise. The whole point of a presidential election is to get people on your side, not force them to be on your side.
Pledge revoked!

In all seriousness, I would hope that both of our sides can meet in the middle to support the nom

That's an interesting angle.

Any opposition whatsoever is "going over the threshold"

What specifically are you talking about?

Why would anyone agree to this when it remains to be seen how the GOP will respond to the ongoing lawfare efforts of the Biden DOJ and other state level operatives to prevent the leading candidate for the nomination from being re-elected president?
The GOP did nothing when 2020 was stolen, going so far as to swipe all the money donated to Trump's stop the steal effort.
Why should anyone give a blanket pre-emptive agreement to just go along with whatever they decide?

The RNC is wasting time about stupid shite like this meanwhile the DNC is organizing ballot harvesting in key counties within swing states.
The RNC is full of dumb fricks.

This is so vague you’re pretty much saying if a candidate has any reason to be unhappy with how the GOP did or didn’t do something, they are justified in fracturing the party.

The voters/delegates decide the nominee. We either pledge to support that decision or we don’t have a functional party and it’s Democrat rule.

Maybe with someone like DeSantis leading the party, who won Florida by 20%, we can win this time.

You've answered the RNC's problem, that party has been in disarray for years.
Is that a 2 or 3 finger pledge?

Is it surprising that the people who support the guy who already lost to Biden also don’t agree with fundamental principles that allow a party to win an election?
Culture of losing.

Incorrect. The party will still function as usual. This is a moot issue.
