Let’s talk ESGs and the repercussions

So recently we’ve seen an uptick in companies marketing all of this liberal ideology. It seems this increase is from these companies trying to increase their scores but it’s hurting the bottom line of the companies being forced to be involved in this nonsense.
How do we get this nonsense reversed? This can’t continue and these companies know it but are forced to participate. Democrats are forcing their ideology on the country similar to the social credit scores used in foreign companies.
When do the democrats force this stuff on us citizens? I think this will have a huge negative impact on the USA. The whole premise of the ESG scores are sold as ways to make the country better but do you really think it helps?

It’s ridiculous. It’s even permeating into industrial construction.

Only way to reverse this will be
1) total boycotts of anyone involved in ESG. Yes, this includes beloved Chik fil a--take a look at their "corporate social responsibility" report. It is appalling.
2) Antitrust actions brought against the hedge funds and banks pushing ESG.
3) A ban on any government contracts with ESG firms. Republicans are going to have to get tough. Too bad that many of them are bought and paid for by their donors.
Perhaps ESG firms should be nationalized and their spoils distributed to the general public?
ETA: a lot of this can also be accomplished by countering the hoax known as "climate change". This is one of the most destructive lies being pushed. It is nothing more than a pretext to eradicate the free market.

ESG is a fricking disaster and a way to propagandize in every facet of life.
Think of some of the futuristic movies where propaganda is played non stop at terminals, train stations, grocery stores, etc.
Companies need to say frick off to ESG scores en masse. What will banks do? Start lending anyway.

It’s as if the WEF seeks to create a new global/political economy with the ESG scoring. Where and when possible, I choose not to participate or support it.

Keep boycotting as much as possible, but this shite will reverse all on its own eventually because it’s based on lies. It just may take a while. It’s unsustainable.

Share holders need to pop the leash.

The WEF is now funding Hollywood as well. It’s a global propaganda operation.

ESG has made its way into the industrial sector and companies like ISNetworld are pushing ESG profiles per company. Been going on for 2-3 years. Some stupid shite. Needs to be gone like yesterday.

You can expect it to intensify and increase in industrial construction, especially where that construction is being done for large, Wall Street traded companies (Oil, Gas, Automobile industry, Power generation, Technology, Consumer supply, etc..)
The Boards of Directors of the large companies are being infiltrated by woke, DEI and ESG special interest representatives and once the board requires it, corporate management will design it and pour it into action. Lower ranking management will implement it or be replaced.

You’re exactly right and it’s very unfortunate. The people need to do something and any politician wanting to gain traction need to focus on ESG and hammer it home.

It can only be "forced" on someone if they are weak minded and stupid.

How are these companies not sued by shareholders? It’s a complete abandonment of their fiduciary duties.

It was a brilliant move by the left - it isn’t going away

Have you done any research on this? I mean this is all over the web for you to read, corporations are forced to participate. It’s now really getting involved with the social stuff even though it started with the environmental side of things which is some communist level extortion operation the government is using to make corporations align with their agenda.
Wake up. If you’re going to make a comment like it only effects the weak minded and stupid people please explain to me how to get these large corporations to escape this madness. I’ll be waiting to hear an answer instead of “weak minded” and “stupid”. I think it’s stupid policy and the environmental aspect is a total sham. It’s all a joke to push the liberal agenda.

Yes it will. It’ll take time though. Things not based in reality never last.

Organized boycotts. If conservatives organized half as well as LGBTQ this shite would be over in a day.
3% of the population has made every company in the country be gay for an entire month.
Imagine what 50% of the population could do.

I know ESG. The whole thing centers on reduction of green house gas emissions. Look up Walmart’s emissions goals. You will be surprised.

This is the way. It’s happened in the military, DOJ and FBI since Obama. Now it’s time for corporations to follow suit.
