I'm not a fan of mail-in voting, but is the problem that the votes are not being verified as coming from a legit voter? If so, then there should be an easy fix for this, especially at the federal level.

People like to say that elections belong to the states, but that is not entirely true. Congress is given explicit power in the Constitution to make laws regarding elections, as they see fit.

Article I, Section 4
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

i was ready before 2020 as i knew this would be bs as soon as the media were predicting mail ins would swing dem, despite them supposedly not knowing mail ins would be heavily dem. i voted asbentee once in the election where perot ran the second time. first time i was old enough to vote. was in college but wanted to vote in home precinct. i requested the ballot. mailed to me with a numbered id. you had to write in a give a reason why you could not vote in person. this was pre computer tabulation. scantron tech with no
2 lead is superior for elections and worked great until broward co rolled out punch hole ballots seemingly for no reason but to justify the shite we see now. two weeks to tabulate votes is now normalized to zoomers, who know no difference.

Of the almost 4 million ballots cast in the runoff what do think the percentage of mail in ballots is/was?

Let me know.

Mail in ballots actually helped Walker, although to a small degree.
Total mail in was approximately 174,000 or about 5% of total vote.
The mail in broke 60-28 white to black.
What killed Walker was Walker.
All republican statewide offices won handily in general.

Too late to fight it. That ship sailed when it got ok'd during covid. Gotta be willing to play the mail-in game now. Or stack L's.

Yep, the rules have changed. Either adapt or get left behind.

They are not. Establishment party Republicans are in the exact out-of-power opposition state they want to be in. Ride the loser train until you can get a 7 figure lobbying gig. The republican mantra.

You can say that Walker, Oz and Trump destroyed the GOPs chances here you must say it was mail in voting and rigged elections
