He’s been an enormous disappointment at Georgia. He would not immediately be the starting center. Their writers don’t think he’s even SEC material at this point.

We need help at center right now, not 2023. Also I highly doubt he's looking to transfer and sit out this year. He's basically sat out/barely played the last 3 years as it stands.

Where does it say he's a graduate transfer? He's only been in school just under 3 full years so he would have had to really work to graduate this early (not saying it's impossible, but dont see anywhere it says he's going to be a graduate this May). It's possible if he was an early enrollee he might be a summer away from graduating, but still, nothing seems to indicate he's transferring as a graduate for now.

Was Eli Ricks a grad transfer? Max Johnson? Asking for a friend….

It's not hard. Undergraduates have to have their name in the portal by February 1st if they want to play football in the fall at another SEC school.
