My source: Lincoln Riley to LSU

I have a very close friend who was a former Sooner player under Stoops and Riley when he was OC, is still very close to both and the OU program. Spoke with him tonight via cell and I can confirm Riley is headed to LSU.
My source is also very much involved in the OU football program and athletic department currently. Says Castiglione is confident in replacing Riley but would not match the LSU offer. Basically let him walk and believes OU job speaks for itself nationally. Also believes the addition to the SEC will attract an even bigger name coach.
On a more personal note, my source says that Riley was fairly upset in handling Spencer Rattler along with his dad and Rattler’s selfish antics. There was some interference from boosters prior to Rattler being benched and this really pissed off Riley. He made it a point to bench Rattler for Caleb Williams and that Rattler would not be a distraction to the team or Riley would kick him off the team.

More of a lurker bud but I have legitimate sources in the OU and UGA athletic departments. Used to at LSU but honestly thankful when Woodward cleaned house.
