Based with what I read on this site, I think it is.

There’s:
A crawfish boil
Swamps
Anti-social bayou people
Partying Cajuns
Incompetent big government
A pig roast
A hunting camp
No mention of LSU because it’s not 2000 yet
The most competent person in the movie is from Texas

That’s the joke… that I’ve seen on this site 30 times.

That people don’t mention LSU before 2000 because before that, they weren’t national contenders in college football?

I’ve never heard that

Do you realize how many NC’s LSU won in various sports prior to 2000?

Live and Let Die

In 1973, “Live and Let Die” was filmed and set in Louisiana. The high chase boat scenes were filmed out in Irish Bayou and Bayou Liberty in Slidell.

When I first saw that movie, I was like what the hell? We don't act like that or have people like that in this state.. I was 12. Then I've lived 40 plus years and realized several years ago yep, we have people just like that in Louisiana. The older I get the more spot on it becomes.

I definitely didn’t come up with it. I didn’t start watching CFB till 2006-2007. It may not be super common but I have heard it multiple times on this site.

I should mention this is in regards to college football

But point taken.

Kim Basinger is illiterate in No Mercy.

Hard to top that for authenticity.
