Who should Don Draper have ended up with?

Obviously not Betty or Megan. I think either Menken, Suzanne, Bethany, or Allison would’ve been good for him. Although, I’m not sure that he’d ever have lasted forever with a wife.
And, kind of changing the subject, it is nice to see Henry realize what a monstrous woman he married towards the end.

Certainly the teacher. Crazy thing is he was literally minutes away from running away with her when Don came home and Betty had some crisis that kept him from leaving.
Now certainly he wouldn't have stayed with her long, but they were still about to do something crazy.

No one. Not a man who should be with a woman. He is too good at playing the field and too bad at being a husband.
The women he got along with best were Joan and Peggy, who just reflected different facets of him. Joan in the whorey/abused way and Peggy in the detached/clever way. Neither of them would make good wives.

I found Allison to be extremely sexy for some reason.
Dr. Fay was hot as well and probably better as a wife for Draper.

IIRC something with Betty or not triggered a Don-Past episode with guilt that shut him down. Very deep episode.
