I’m 27 and I’m over people my age doing things like virtue signaling with the empty black squares as if they are truly making a difference in the world. I have a want to correct ignorance, and I feel as though one of these SJW bitches are going to take it too far and try to report me. I also don’t really care that these losers know what I’m doing with my life anyway.

Besides, sports and other major news gets put here quicker than social media

Good for you! You won’t miss it or regret it either. I deleted social media 3 years ago, and it was the best decision.

I know nothing of Twitter, but there is a process involved with actually deleting your facebook.

I'm about to that point. It's legitimately toxic to be on any social media platform right now.

I haven't had FB or Instagram in years now. I still have Twitter but I rarely use it. There a few accounts that I enjoy following. Might scrap that one too though.

I deactivated mine - haven’t been back to look at what that did. Is there more to it than that?

So you run to another form of social media, full of virtue signalers, to signal your virtues?

There is entirely too much smut on twitter for me to delete it.

I deactivated about 6 years ago. It was a wise choice.

I gave it up in 2016 when I was 26

My wife still reads shite to me that she finds on FB.. I tell her I got off of it for a reason.

It’s really nice to not read opinions of people that shouldn’t have a platform to voice their opinion
